Not Again....

Okay...apparently I need to rethink how I am teaching my children lessons on modesty! If you recall several weeks ago I had an incident with Avery pulling her dress up and her diaper off at church. Well, this time it's worse!! We are potty training Andrew and Avery and like most boys Andrew is fascinated by the fact that he can whip down his pants and pee wherever he wants. His most favorite place to sneak a quick "pee" is outside in the grass. I try to pick my battles since I am outnumbered by toddlers in my house. So, occasionally I let him go pee in the back yard. Obviously Andrew did not catch on to my teaching that going potty is not something for the public to see. Wednesday night after church let out, me and another lady were outside talking as people were walking out of the building. When all of a sudden I looked up and saw Andrew standing there pants around the ankles, pelvis thrust forward, and urinating in the church grass!! I screamed out, "NO ANDREW!!" The other lady burst into laughter as I asked Andrew why he did that. Andrew responded with "I tee teed outside.....Like Daddy!!" Humbled again as I realize how completely unaware I am at this parenting thing! "Pride comes before the fall, and lessons in humility come from the very small!!"
